Cheer Team & More Fun
The Cheer Team Spirit
We are very excited that many of you will be dancing in the Jack & Jills (random partnering) and/or Strictly Swings (with partner of your choice) at Swingin New England. Our goal is to be your biggest supporters and inspire you to dance your best. Hopefully, you will do the same for everyone in our group. If you are part of the SwingShoes Group, then you are already part of the "Cheer Team".
Cheering through Finals
As part of the SwingShoes "Cheer Team" group, we will support each dancer through Preliminaries, Semi-Finals and Sunday Finals. If you are competing in one of the divisions, we hope you will be the loudest supporters of others.

Shot-glass toast to all the competitors in the Jack & Jill.
6:00pm - 6:30pm - Jack & Jill Semi-Finals (If needed)
11pm - Group Photo 1
This will be our first Group Photo of the event and will happen just before the Invitational Strictly Swing.
11:00pm - 12:00am - Invitational Strictly Swing
Let's watch it together - it's not to be missed.
12:00am (or as soon as the Invit'l Strictly Swing is over) - Group Photo 2
This will be the super-awesome Group Photo right after the Invitational Strictly Swing.

Cheer Team is in full effect!!
Let's all shot-glass toast our SwingShoes Group dancers who made finals and cheer them on to do their personal best.
Cheer Team Leader
Renee Nieto is our "Cheer Team" Leader. I find her to be one of the most vocal, cheerful, glittery and supportive members of our dance community. She is an accomplished Hustle dancer and has become a musically-fun West Coast Swing dancer. If you don't know how to cheer, stand next to Renee for a moment - you'll become a better dancer just from her energy.
